In terms of its physical properties, sycamore wood is moderately heavy and moderately hard. It possesses moderate strength, stiffness, and shock resistance, making it capable of withstanding various everyday uses and impacts.

One characteristic of sycamore wood is that it lacks distinctive growth rings, which can give it a more uniform appearance compared to other wood species that have more pronounced growth ring patterns.
